Citric Acid - Osmose

Recipes for descaling, remove stains or cleaning :

For coffee makers : Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of citric acid in one liter of water. Pour the equivalent of one cup of this solution into the coffeemaker and let stand for 15 to 30 minutes while the product is working. Then use the rest of the solution then rinse with 2 liters of clear water.

For kettles : Dilute 1 to 2 tablespoons in 1 liter of water directly in the kettle. Bring to a boil and leave to act for 15 to 30 minutes. Finally, just rinse well with water.

For washing machines : Put 6 to 8 tablespoons of the powder in the drum and run the machine on a short cycle. Do not put laundry at the same time.

To remove mold blackening tile joints : Mix one part citric acid with water to make a paste. Apply this preparation on your joints and leave to act, then rub with an old brush.

For faucets, shower heads and water reducers : Mix 2 to 5 tablespoons of citric acid with water. Rub the areas attacked by the limestone with this solution and allow to act before rinsing. For smaller items, you can let them soak in this solution for half a day and then rinse.

For toilet bowls : Add 3 tablespoons to a stained bowl and let stand overnight. Brush the next day.

For the walls: Dissolve a small amount of powder with warm water to obtain a paste, then rub with a sponge on the stains.

For the bottoms of vases or teacup deposits : Put 1 to 2 tablespoons in the container to clean and pour there boiling water. Leave on for 30 minutes then rinse.

For burned bottoms stainless steel pans : Dilute 2 tablespoons of this powder in a little water. Pour this mixture into the pan and heat for a few minutes. Finish with a good rinse with water.
