Helen made her first pair of slippers for her young son in the winter of 1977, north of Vancouver.
They had a hand-cut sheepskin foot plant and an upper hook made of raw wool.
A few years and a lot of work later, these slippers are sold across Canada, the United States and Europe.
The Padraig are still established at the north of Vancouver, where they support the local community.
Each slipper is crocheted and tinted by hand, in small lots, for an excellent quality always as unique.
